Funeral services will be Saturday for Hagop Derderian, 85, of 88 Ninth St. Troy, former owner and operator of a barbershop on Federal Street in Troy for 40 years. He died Tuesday in Samaritan Hospital, Troy.

Born in Turkey, he moved to  Troy 65 years ago.  He was the husband of the late Shooshan Yeramian Derderian.  Mr. Derderian was a member of St. Peter’ Armenian Apostolic Church, Watervliet.

Survivors included three daughters, Lois Derderian of Troy, Mrs. Serena Balkan and Lucy Kochian, both of California, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

     Services will be at 9 a.m. from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Troy, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s Armenian Apostolic Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
