Nenagh


The town of Nenagh grew from a Norman settlement to a typical market town which became a mid-19th century garrison town and capital of the new North Riding.

In 1998, Nenagh won the national Glor an nGael trophy for promotion of the Irish Language.  It hosts an annual traditional music and arts festival in August.
