Smith-NYS mailing list, for Smith in New York State

This is a discussion area for anyone who has an genealogical interest in the Smith surname and it's variations (e.g., Smythe, Smyth) who lived in New York State at some point in their migration. This list is a sister list to the Smith-NYC mailing list which includes the five boroughs of New York City. If your Smiths lived not only in NYC but in other counties of New York State, this is the list that will cover both.

Please note: This list is set up so that all replies automatically go back to the list. This is done because much of the information posted in the replies is also helpful to others on the list.

Inform me and I'll unsub them and assist them to get the help they need to clean their computer. All virus warnings need to be sent to the listowner for approval before posting.
