Research Notes:  The Tithe Applotments were transcribed for this parish by Pat Connors from the Family History Film #256666.  The film was in fairly good condition but the handwriting was very old, plus the recorder couldn't spell some of the surnames. All recorded names are as spelled in the record. All together it was, at times, extremely hard to read correctly, therefore, all entries should be checked if you are trying to find connections to your family. This resource is an index, since there is more information for each entry in the source document. The Townlands and/or areas were also hard to read, and used old times spellings, so may not look familiar.

TRANSCRIPTION NOTES:  This civil parish was 71 pages long with almost 2000 individuals listed, however the following was found:  No page 69 was in the file, nor was it mentioned in the index of townlands at the end of the tithes.

Both pages and individuals were numbered, however, the following mistakes were found in the numbering of individuals/pages plus other transcription problems:

skipped 100 numbers, went from 241 to 342 (individuals)
skipped page number 69
Mc looked like W
skipped 413
skipped 463
skipped 470-479
skipped 483
skipped 503
skipped 629
Page 29, numbers*, mostly repeat of 28, but some changes
same name, one after another, spelled differently
skipped 723
skipped 763
skipped 783
skipped 963
FL looks like K/H
skipped 1338 & 1341
skipped 1739
skipped 1455
skipped 1472
