The Parish is the fundamental unit of the Church of England.  This webpage is an attempt to categorize the records/registers available for the parishes located in County Derbyshire.  Each parish page will also list available records for other religions.  The parishes that are surrounding the parish are listed, to enable the researcher to become familiar with where their ancestors lived and to know what other areas to look for records.

Since this is a big project, it will take some time to get pages done for all the parishes, if you have a particular parish you would like to see, email me and on my next update, I'll be sure to add your parish.
